Debbie LSJune 13, 2025I decided to switch to bar shampoo and conditioner in order to reduce plastic waste. I cannot say enough about Elmore Mountain Farm's products. I first rinsed my hair with apple cider vinegar as advised to remove any build up from my previous hair products, and then used the product. My hair has never looked or felt so good! And, for days!! D SimonsJanuary 9, 2025I just bought their citrus shampoo and conditioner bars. I have curly hair that becomes frizzy and dry in the winter. It's great for that. This morning I ran the conditioner bar over my wet hair after I got out of the shower for a leave-in conditioner, and it worked wonderfully for that, too! I have tried using coconut oil but that's too greasy. The conditioner bar works much better, and I love being able to use these wholesome products and avoid the harsh chemicals in other watered down, more expensive products that leave my hair damaged. Alexander WinchNovember 21, 2024Although I was first hooked to Elmore soap by its sustainability story, and local manufacture (I bought when I was at college in Rhode Island), I kept buying the soap because of it's luxurious quality. This kept me ordering online even after I moved out of New England. It is not just good because it's sustainable, but because it is an excellent soap all on its own, and in my eyes, it successfully competes with soaps that make no green claims or efforts. Elmore Mountain Farm Goat milk soap is amazing because although it lathers well, and removes dirt wonderfully, it never dries out my skin or seems to strip too many necessary skin oils. Don't just buy it because it is green, but because it is one of the nicest handmade soaps I've ever come across.
